This is a easy and delicious beer bread that is dairy free. This bread is the best of both worlds as it is crunchy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside. Pair this bread with a cup of soup or warm dip.

 

There is nothing I love more than a quick and easy bread recipe. Well this recipe has you covered as it has as little as six ingredients. It’s as easy as mixing the dry ingredients and adding the wet ingredients. Woala, that is it! There is no proofing the dough, worrying about the yeast, or waiting hours for the end result.

 

This bread recipe is versatile so try spicing it up by adding these add-ins to the mixture.

Beer Bread

This is a easy and delicious beer bread that is dairy free. This bread is the best of both worlds as it is crunchy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside.

Yield: 12 slices

 

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 45-55 minutes

Total Time: 55 minutes

Ingredients

3 cups whole wheat flour

1 tsp salt

1 ½ tbsp baking powder

3 tbsp maple syrup

4 tbsp melted butter

1 12 oz. bottle of beer

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

2. In a bowl, mix together dry ingredients until well combined.

3. Add syrup and beer to the dry mixture until well combined until it forms a dough.

4. Place dough and spread evenly into a lightly sprayed loaf pan and brush with melted butter.

5. Bake for 45-55 minutes depending on your oven. To check if bread is fully cooked, insert a toothpick in the center. If it comes out clean, it is ready.
